Pepsi
Broadcast
On April 25th during the Billboard Latin Music Awards on Telemundo, Pepsi premiered their first campaign speaking directly to US Hispanics in a very long time. We launched a 360-campaign starring John Leguizamo. The spot was shot in Mexico City where Garage Films brought a big US city feel to life—with hundreds of extras, a subway, taxis and lowriders.
The commercials follow John throughout his day, while he overcomes personal internal and external obstacles on his way to his evening curtain call – highlighting his resilient personality. With this work, Pepsi celebrates those Hispanics who choose to listen to their inner voice in the pursuit of their passions, in spite of the doubts we all face.
Out of Home
In addition to a Hispanic network media schedule, the buy included a partnership with Telemundo during the Billboard Latin Music Awards. We aired an additional :30 spot on April 25th featuring a unique dynamic picture-in-picture take on the commercial, starring LatinxNow host Nastassja Bolivar, and placement in digital OOH on the Las Vegas Strip where the :15 TVC and :30 picture-in picture were both featured.
“I especially love the message we’re sending to our fans through the spot… which is that no matter what type of obstacle or doubt comes your way – big or small – if you stick to your passion and listen to your own voice, you can get one step closer to living out your dreams.”
